The gutta percha point is placed in the canal. A X-ray is then taken to determine if the points are in alignment and to determine if there are gaps. The gutta–percha point should fit in a way that you can predict what the final product will look before you begin the process. The outcome will be predictable and easy when all the instruments have been done in a correct manner. Restoration is the process of replacing the tooth structure removed from the cavity. A tooth-colored restoration is desired by patients who want to preserve their aesthetics. The radiographs taken following the final restoration confirm the success of the root canal treatment.
