The root canal treatment starts by determining. After inspecting the tooth, the radiograph is used to confirm the diagnosis. You can see a slight discoloration of the affected area. This indicates an infection within the root apex. The surface of the tooth is cleaned to expose the root canals. The root canals are seen from the occlussal surface following the preparation of tooth cavity, so that infected pulp tissues are removed.

Following this, Endodontic files are used to eliminate the pulp tissue from root canals. There are various sizes of endodontic file. These files are used to measure the length of the root canal because this may differ between teeth or individuals. They are then utilized to clean the infected canals and eliminate the pulp tissue. These files are pliable, as root canals can have curvatures at their tips.

The infected tooth must be treated using root canal therapy. It is caused by caries infiltration into the Enamel and Dentin, which has reached the pulp. The root apex displays the development of an abscess. After removing pulp tissue from the root canals, empty canals must be cleaned using disinfectant and irrigation solutions to ensure there are no infected tissues in the canals.

After cleansing the root canals thoroughly, gutta percha points are then placed into the empty canals to replace the soiled pulp tissue. The guttapercha tips come in various sizes so that they can completely fill the empty canals. After cement has been applied, the gutta-percha point is then inserted into the root channel.

The gutta-percha spot is filled with water and inserted into the canal. An X-ray scan is performed to determine if the points are in alignment and to see if there's any gaps. The gutta-percha point must be able to fit comfortably enough that you are able to predict how the final result will look before you begin the process. The gutta percha point can be fitted perfectly and give amazing results if the instruments required are used correctly. After the gutta percha point are properly placed then it's time to construct the restoration to replace the tooth structure that has been damaged. For aesthetic purposes, patients prefer to have an amalgam-colored crown. A radiograph taken after an entire root canal procedure confirms the effectiveness.
