After the gutta–percha points are placed into the canal, images are taken to look for gaps and to confirm the position of the point. The gutta percha point has to fit well enough so that you are aware, with complete predictability, what the final result will appear like prior to completing the process. If all previous instrumentation was completed correctly, the point will be easy to put in. The final outcome will be excellent. The process of restoration is to replace the structure of the tooth taken out of the cavity. Patients prefer a tooth-coloured restoration to enhance their appearance. Radiographs taken after the last restoration prove the efficacy of root canal therapy.
