The gutta-percha point must fit in a way that you are able to predict how the final result will look before you have completed the procedure. If all previous instrumentation was performed correctly, the point will be easy to fit. The end result will be fantastic. After the guttapercha point has been confirmed and the next step is to place the restoration. It will be replaced by the tooth structure which was taken out during the cavity preparation. A tooth-coloured restoration is preferred by patients to maintain aesthetics. A radiograph taken after complete root canal treatment confirms the efficacy.
